1. Disconnected Air Intake hoses
2. Remove big Plastic cover that has the V6 on it.
3. Disconnect the 2 harness/plugs that you see him disconnect.
4. and pull the ECU right off

it depends on ur service advisor.. if he wants to b a d*** abt it.. the warranty will void if something is wrong wth ur car n' they checked the ecu n' found out that it is not in factory settings.. but most service guys really dun care abt it.. i'd say go for it.. i really want to do it too but my 350 is my daily ride so i juz dun hav time...

Yeah same here, besides I am in Vancouver, BC. I sent an email to Matt at Powerchip and see if they would do something like that in Canada at least that way it can be done with a faster turn around time (for Canadians)

Got mine back this morning - less tha 72hr turn around, coast-to-coast. Won't be able to install until tonight, and won't be able to drive it until tomorrow...
Ps... Geez, I was hoping to at least get a "Powerchip" sticker for my tool box...

Is it too late to get this deal?
Also, I heard that dealers sometime flash computer when they do maintenance, isn't this going to kill powerchip program and bring you back to the stock software?

Please don't bring ur issues to this thread. Everyone here has had a good experience. The one thread I read is about Powerchip in Australia. As I stated before, I had great customer service and I am very happy with my product.

We appreciate that, it's unfortunate that there's a few people trying to tarnish our reputation to make a name for themselves, but that's one of the drawbacks of the internet. Myself and the rest of the guys at PC do our best to make each of you guys happy and that includes answering questions and phone calls on weekends. Thanks for the support, it helps me wake up and go to work everyday knowing we are doing something right.

The use of the language "they charged my credit card without my permission" I suggest could be beter stated as "they waited a couple of weeks to bill my credit card for the shipping I had agreed to pay, but it was a surprize when the bill came in because it was billed AFTER I had already paid for just the software upgrades and it came up as a seperate charge I wasnt expecting"

got my ecu bac yesterday.... n' it wasn't that noticeable on the gain on the city roads.. this evening.., i was test drivin' on the highways.. n' wow.., i feel like i was flyin'.. no stress on the engine.., better throttle response... better acceleration... thanks powerchip..!!! this is a nice christmas present for me..!!
