Carlsson LED day time running lights
Has anyone done this before with success? Have a 2008 C350 and have replaced my fog lights twice now. Was getting ready to order another fog light when I came across this on Ebay. It is a Carlsson LED Kit that fits in the fog light area with very minor modification. It even shows you a 5 minute instructional video of what you are getting into if you buy.
I am wondering if anyone has done this already and what your impressions are of this? Also, is $699 a good price or can it be found and purchased for less. Any insight would be appreciated.

Buy it directly from Carlsson, it's about $485.
You can email Linda Molina about ordering information.

Is this a new design for Carlsson? Looks much better.
I remember seeing another unit that has both LEDs and fog lights, but it looked busier with ugly exposed screwheads and the fog lights were directly below the LED strip instead of off to the side.
The only thing I don't like is how the LEDs are too spread apart. I prefer to see a more consistant strip of light.

FYI, I emailed Linda Moline and recd a response today from Carlsson. They sent me a pdf brochure but stated that I would need to call up a US distributor for them to get pricing. I will email them back and let you guys know what I find out.

Rec'd quote of 335,28 euros which included shipping, however not included in this price is customs duty which I do not know what that would run.

Really? The video, admittedly showing non-AMG kit installation, had him cut a little bit off to fit the DRLs. If you look at the picture, the vertical strip between the fog light and condenser recesses are thinner with the DRLs fitted. Maybe it fits over part of the strip? Can anybody confirm?
