While I think that drinking and driving is stupid and not only dangerous to you, it is also to all others on the road. Don't just assume he was obliterated and couldn't drive. Who knows how long he had been drinking for or stopped before he drove.
Sucks to hear about what happened to your rims and fender, hope it all gets fixed soon.
On a side note, NYS just banned four lokos completely. Kind of sucks, cheap way to get smashed for under $3. 6 shots for $2.50 including tax, sign me up! The lemonade flavor was the only good one anyway. Probably best it got banned, who knows what crap was in it.
Additionally, on the subject of drunk driving. Within the last week on long island (new york) there have been two accidents with drunk drivers traveling the wrong way on two separate parkways and occasions. One, involved the death of a police officer, and the other, the serious injury and permanent partial paralysis of a father... If you were drinking and driving, I strongly urge you to practice a safer means of transportation. Get a taxi, it really isn't that expensive, and will save your ride from crap like this. Not only do you keep yourself out of harms way, but also the lives of others...
