C300 custom sub box (homemade)

Awesome job man, looks great. My only concern looking at this is having the sub actually make physical contact with the trunk lid, looks like there's not much room there. But if that's not happening then you should be all good.

Does look great man, but not something I'd do! Trunk is already too small! How much does that puppy weigh? I agree with Ron, great thread - great job!

With sub and amp in, I figure the box weighs around 50-60 pounds. Sub is 30 on it's own, amp is about 10-12 pounds, and the box ended up weigh another 10-15 pounds, it wasn't light when we were done. But it is serving it's purpose well, and I couldn't be happier!
The trunk is a bit small, but this is my DD, and 99.9% of the time is my get around car. If I'm doing anything that requires picking up things, my F250 comes out to play. That truck has more room in the back seat than the whole C300 cargo space and back seat combined lol

Great job on that enclosure!
How badly does it rattle the trunk? I heard the trunk is pretty well insulated but rarely can anything be fully insulated from a W7 haha. I'm getting my W7 installed later this week so just trying to get some ideas on what to expect or if I should dynamat my car.
