Transmission Oil Circulation

Hi. Just landed my first MB, an '08 C300 that I really love so far. What I'm wondering is if the transmission oil is circulated while its in the parked mode?

I live in an area that has ridiculously hot summers and like to try and be as easy on my auto transmissions as possible that time of year. Knowing if the oil is being circulated while in P would be helpful.

Thanks!

If the engine is running the oil is circulating. If the oil overheats (>140 Deg C) the TC Clutch map is changed & a lower gear locked in while moving. If the oil temp does not reduce to the desired level the transmission will go into limp mode to protect itself. So you are well covered.

Thanks/appreciate the info.

I've owned some other vehicles that did not circulate the fluid while in 'P', good to know these cars do that.
