My New C350!
Just picked up my 2011 C350 sport w/ premium package. Obsidian black metallic on black (MB-Tex) interior. 18 inch AMG wheels (w/ Conti Pro-Contact all-seasons). The pic is from my phone (apologies for quality) before plates went on. Will try to post better pic later.
Also, I had the dealer swap out the sport grill for the lux grill and hood star. I think it came out looking great. Would be glad to hear other opinions.

Thanks guys! It is truly something. The new Agility Control Suspension and Sport mode is a vast diffrence from the previous C350 (i had a 2008 C350 before this car) - more powerful throttle response, firmer supsension and steering is more direct/firm in sport mode. And, the paddle shifters are great!

First and foremost, welcome and congratulations on a great car!
It's funny how the "grass is always greener" is so much a part of human behavior. I would have replaced the stand-up hood ornament with the Sport lay-down version, and wanted a Sport grille (or C63 style, as I eventually installed). The Lux version just looks too traditional for me.
For first mod, get rid of the awful original equipment Contis and get some decent tires! Everything else can wait.

I negotiated the deal to include (at no extra cost) removal of the sport grill and flat hood badge and install of the lux grill and standing hood star. Another dealer told me that they usually charge $500 to do this, but would likewise throw it in as part of the deal. And thanks for the positive feedback!

I love the look of the traditional grille with the standup star- I'm only 34 but have a real appreciation for Mercedes tradition. I'd have swapped mine out already but the wife is absolutely against it- she feels, like others here, that it's too "old fashioned"..
could you take a pic of the front head on?

The picture from the front head on came out really dark for some reason, so i will have to take another one and post later.
I don't think the lux grill and hood star is that radical (in a "traditional" way, if I can put it that way). Mercedes wanted to make the C class look more sporty w/ the star in the grill, which was a 1st for a sedan. But, if you think about it: in terms of sporty models, the E63 AMG (which is basically a super-car with over 500 hp) has a lux (chrome) grill and standing hood star (that look very similar to the C-class with lux grill and hood star combo together w/ AMG body work).
As for age, i am 44 (and I have been thinking about getting the hood star, lux grill combo for at least 2 years). "Old school" is coming back.
