2014 W205 Pics
After yesterday's surprise reveal of the facelifted W204, today's arrival of my subscription copy of auto motor und sport (in German) from Stuttgart with views of the 2014 W205 really got my attention. While I do like the revisions in the facelift models, the only real improvement is the interior, and considering the very large cost of moving up to the 2012 model just for this, the views of the 2014 model put all that into perspective.
The magazine also shows the 2015 E-Class wagon (beautiful!), the E-Class Shooting Brake and the 2013 S-Class which will offer a 4-cylinder hybrid version. The E-Class gets a facelift with a new rear end with lights similar to the C-Class. The W205 C-Coupe is seen in a high front 3/4 view and is just as bland as the spyshots have shown.
Go to this link which will show the front cover of the magazine. Then drag your cursor from right to left on the cover and you can view the C's rear view on another page. Drag left to right to go back.
A few of the magazine's pages can be seen by continuing including an article on the new S-Class coupe, if anyone cares.

Looks like the 2014 is worth waiting for although the looks will take a bit of getting used to.

The interior for the facelifted w204 defintely is different, but I don't know if it is necessary better...
I mean if the material used for the interior is the same, then it would defintely still be too plastic...
MB really should have include leather as part of the premium package or at least take away the hard plastic on door trim panels & center console cover..

In my opinion, the E desperately need revamped rear end, more than the C needs interior make over. Whenever bmw f10 passed by, its rear definitely 'sexier' / more acceptable, doesn't really have that 'it will grow on me' feeling. Updated C interior is only to face the all new bmw 3, as it already won the battle to current 3.

It seems MB has almost copied the front end of the new mitsubishi evo/lancer. I have always hated how some cars have a hood that ends before the grill leaving a HUGE line >.< . E class I think is perfect as is, love the aggressive styling of it. The new one doesnt seem to even have exhaust tips and seems..bmwish? And why are the tail lights practically on the side of the car instead of the rear? Seems the c class is moving more towards luxury then sportiness. I guess bmw and audi will be pulling in alot more of the younger crowd in 2013.

It really reminds me of the BMW 5-series F10 in a lot of ways. I'm not so sure about the bottom grill on the fascia, though. Looks like the mouth of a smiley face, which isn't a good thing in my book.

Overall, the facelifted C-Class is an improvement in every way. At least now it is elegant, and less painful to look at. The only thing I don't like too much is the "crooked" wood trim. It should be straight in my view.
Too bad a facelifted E-Class will not be available by the time I take delivery of mine. Both the front and rear lights need softening to make it less brutish to look at.

Waiting for W204 Facelift
thanks for sharing RLE
I agree with commentators who see bmw 5 (as too muscular body) and mitsubishi (as rear design)
so for me front grill is too low . I think more changings to come
I shall buy one facelifted model or Wait 2014 ? confused

Damn, you guys are funny. These are all predictions/renderings from the Magazine. M-B has released no hard info on these cars.
The C is the only one that actually has any merit, as M-B is starting to speak on its design. For one, it will use lots of F800 cues, and it will also be the first model to showcase the new M-B styling language (which the S-Class always did before).
The W212 JUST came out, and there are no tangible ideas whatsoever about how the facelift will look.

Good god that thing is hideous! But I'll take that picture with a grain of salt. How long did it take for pictures of the face-lifted 2012 to be released??? No way they are going to release anything that's close to the actual design 4yrs in advance. This is just another artist's rendering
