Do you rub at all?
and
Can I go with any bigger tires if I roll/pull the fenders?

Hello,

I am looking to get new rims for my c250. I was thinking of staying with the oem size of 17".

I really like these rims. I personally do not know much about fitment or what offset I should get.

Can you guys give me any suggestions.

Thanks,

Made a thread in wheels section but it seems there is not much traffic. So here's the link
https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...wpost&t=501702
Another question is what would be good tire size to use on these wheels on 09 C350?

Really Need Some Help...

I purchased a set of 20x8.5 ET35 with 225/35R20 tires on all 4 corners for my 2009 Mercedes C300 (W204) last month. I bought them from a guy who worked at a Mercedes dealer and he assured me the offset would work with my W204.

Well the rears are fine not rubbing at all and look great but the fronts are rubbing where the bumper meets the fender. My Fenders are rolled already but that doesn’t help because of where the tires are rubbing.

Is there anything at all I can do to get these rims to not rub in the front? I can not get a hold of the person who sold me the rims in the first place. Any help will me very much appreciated. Thanks

My fenders aren't rolled because I have custom fiberglass fenders that I had trimmed to the minimum... BUT, I also had to shave the part where the bumper meets the fender. I can't remember how it looks on the original set-up but you can probably use a dremmel tool to shave what's rubbing on your tyre, at least for the plastic part of the bumper. Otherwise you will have to play with the camber. There should be plenty of adjustment on your stock spindle to push your wheel inwards in order to clear the rubbing. Sometimes it only takes a minimal adjustment that wont have much effect on your tyre wear. My 2 cents..

Thanks for the info. I did the math and all I need is 7mm to clear. Has anyone ever pulled their fenders 7mm?

Any rubbing issues with this setup?

And where did you find the mud flaps?

Sold the Stance 19's and stepped it up to 20's this year. Will take more pics when the weather breaks.

20x9 et45 all around with 225/35r20. Tired of cupping my rear tires in 6 months so am going to try a non-staggered fitment and rotate this time round. No rubbing what so ever.

Why go with 225/35r20? they are almost 5% larger in circumference than stock, if you would have went with 225/30r20 it would have been an almost perfect match.
