Refurbed, h&r super sports, stock shocks.
W/S 212, 19" 9.5j and 8.5j et48. 225 35 front, 245 35 rear, Refurbed in golf R pretoria grey with an absolute load of chrome flake and lacquer. As close to diamond cut as i would want without the horrid corrosive properties of diamond cut. H&R super sports with stock shocks No rubbing, slightly less comfy but nothing unbearable. Hope this helps someone. I'm yet to shoot it properly in a decent location springs been on a week.

I’m planning on getting wheels and tires, looking at 18 + 19” wheel option and would like good ride comfort/response balance.
Considering Vossen, Mandrus, TSW for wheels and Continental, Hankook, Vogue tires.

How much of a difference in ride comfort is there between 19” and 20” I believe a 19 would have a 35profile and a 20” would use a 30profile?
I prob gunna go 19” but would like to hear how comfortable a 20” setup was and perhaps best tires to run.
Thinking Continental Extreme Contacts for tires.
Any feedback is appreciated.

4-Matic? You'll need front and rear tyres to be of the same size. Not advisable to have a staggered setup. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Any benefit in going with a wider tire other than looks. I’m suspecting it wouldn’t noticeable at all.

If you go for a wider tyre on the rear you have to do the maths on what profile needs to be to match the front diameter, im no maths wizz so I dont know, a good tyre shop can work it out for you.

I know this thread is kinda dead but I wanted to give an update on my car
Work CR kais
F18x9 R18x9.5
-3 camber all around with all 4 fenders rolled and cut in some places.
Suspension is accuair e-level
I wanted a clean look and not over done. If I could I would probably have gone with 19”s
