Do you understand the implications of a +35mm difference in offset between the two options you're looking at? Or is that +10mm for option #2 a misprint?

Hi guys,

Will the following setup fit my C63 W204?

19x8.5 ET 39
19x9.5 ET 39

I would like to run a Michelin PS4S. 275 30 R 19 on the rear if possible but willing to go less beefy to make it fit!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best,
Yannick

Hey Yannick!

Think we replied to the same question from the Aftermarket wheel thread, but yeah that should be a good setup. A little aggressive with the tire setup but good

Front wheel's sticking out a bit. Just curious, is that ET +35 front as well?

Yes, et 35 18x8 all around.
But this picture is on winter tyres, summer set on 245 is perfect.
For winter on et35 8j tyres 235/40 is pererfect( flush with fender)
This is setup which i think to bay for summer.
Front 18x8j et35, tyres 245/40 r18 or (235/40 r18)
Rear 18x9 et42 or (40), tyres 275/35 r18 or ( 265/35 r18)

Stock sport suspension - two adults sitting in the back for the pics

Will get the rear rolled and pulled next and will eventually go w. coilovers so it sits like that - No rubbing solo

Looks amazing!

Thanks for posting sizes and offsets.

2010 C300
Hi Community,

I'm hoping to get some opinions on if my setup is going to work.
I recently picked up a 2010 C300 Sport Sedan and looking to get new wheels. I think I should be ok with the setup I want, but been getting confused looking at other peoples setups and reading fitment articles.

I have stock 17's right now on stock suspension and aiming to get a semi-tuck to flush look. The plan is also to put in some BC Coilovers after the wheels to go a little lower than what the H&R SS would be . The car is used for typical daily driver. I don't want to run into any rubbing issues

What I'm potentially getting:
Front: 18x8 Offset +42
Front Tires: 225/40/18
Rear: 18x9 Offset +45
Rear Tire: 245/35/18

The wheels are an AMG style wheel (so they're replicas/knockoffs). I really want to stay with 18's.

The tires is what I came up with when plugging in #'s in a calculator and seeing what was going to give me the least amount of diameter change and having a readily available tire size.

Any input would be appreciated.

Is the 235/35-18 a misprint? Because from what I see on Tire Rack there's very little available in that size. Not to mention that would be quite a bit shorter than your front tires, and would look stupid on a 9" wide wheel.

255/35-18 (the stock rear size for 18s) or 265/35-18 would be a much better match to the front diameter, a much better fit on the 9" wheel, would look a helluva lot better, and has way better availability.

Yea, that was a type-o, just fixed it... I must have gotten it all mixed up while looking up tires on discounttires and using the calculator from fitmentindustries

I meant to have 255/35/18 for rears.

245/35 is strech on 9j,
265/35 on 9j is perfect for me

255/35 or 265/35 would give you more options to choose from, and like c220bg said, will look better on the 9" wheel. I don't see any advantage to going with the 245/35s in the rear.

I'd probably do 235/40s up front and 265/35s in the rear.

Just got my rims put on today. Motegi Traklite 3.0s, 17" x 8.5", 45mm offset, 66mm hub. 18.5lbs each.

I went with the stock 17"s for a slightly taller sidewall. As much as I'd love the look of 19s I'd prefer to maintain ride comfort, lower tire cost, and better lip protection. Also went 8.5" width front and back, once again for tire cost and ability to rotate the tires.

Until I need a new set of kicks the fronts are 225/45/17 and the backs are 245/40/17 in the pictures. I will definitely go with the 245s when I get a new set, for the sake of protecting the lips. I went super flush on my Lorenzo's before and that's when I kept rashing them..

UPDATE: after a couple months I have yet to feel any rubbing. I haven't had more then one adult passenger in the car, so not much weight in back, but I have hit the average dip hard enough it would've induced rubbing if it was going to happen. I also replaced the stems, caps and weights with black---see the bottom picture. I ordered black Gorilla keyed lugs for security and looks but sadly the lugs wouldn't even fit, let alone the key. Ordered black keyed CNSpeed lugs and the key is as till too big. Going to look for a thinner walled key.

Black stems, caps, and wheel weights.

What lip kit is this? I have been trying to look for a front and rear lip kit including side skirts for my 2014 C250 and haven’t found anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!🤙🏾

So what's your question? Did you check www.willtheyfit.com or any of the other online fitment calculators to compare those to what you have now? Did you read any of the hundreds of examples provided in this thread before you replied to see how your proposed setup compares to fitments that are known to work?

Just got my wheels delivered today, but was sent the wrong offset.

Front: 18x8 Offset +42 = even though the box said ET42, they were really 35. The shop said it was a manufacture situation since they went by the packaging. They checked their stock and had their other wheels with 35s in the boxes instead of 42s
Rear: 18x9 Offset +45 = ok

These are the tire size I was going to go with. I really don't want ET35 wheel, I want the wheels to look flush at most or a tucked looked after I put coilovers in. At stock height now
Front Tires: 225/40/18

Rear Tire: 245/35/18

Thoughts on if the same tire size for the fronts will still be ok and will it look funky?

This is my c200k 2008.
Sitting on 30mm Eibach Lowering Springs and Bilstein B8.
Setup of Rims:
18*8 ET42 all around.
Rear Tires 235/40/18 (next will be 245/40)
Front tires 225/40/18.
I believe our cars with a ET35 and a 8" width is the "limit" and they sit flush with the fenders.
Check the pics to see how they sit with ET42

Thanks guys...

I like the look with of the ET42 in the front.
The thing I worry the most with the flush ET35 is when I put in my coilovers. I plan on doing BC coilovers and I want a drop lower than the HR SS... I want no wheel gap and maybe a bit lower and if I'm flush, I'm worried about rubbing.
I like the little tucked look

I'm waiting on the shop that sent me the wheels let me know if they want to give me a partial refund to keep the rims, so I could have a spot do some fender rolling.
Typically I would just send them back, but I kind of need new front tires and I leave for a long road trip soon, so I don't want to buy new tires, then buy new tires again.

Why would you need to buy new tires twice? Install new tires on the +35mm wheels. Drive the car that way while the manufacturer send the correct +42 wheels. Once those wheels arrive, drive the car to the shop, have them swap the tires onto the correct +42mm wheels, and you continue living your life.

If what the shop is saying is true, the manufacturer is responsible for incorrectly packaging and shipping the wheels. It shouldn't cost you anything to remedy the situation.

Can you take little bit more pictures of rear wheels?
i want to go at summer on 19’, front 235/35 r19 8j et 35 and that would be perfect, rear 265/30 r19 9j and for those i am not sure.
Do you have any space for 265 at the back or 255 is max width?

Also i am interest how is loking with those wheels.
I can get such wheels very cheaply, and i look this also

And those not cheap 😁

2015 Mercedes Benz C250 Coupe lowered on wheels

I know this thread is really old but thanks to a lot of you here that recommended certain specs on wheels. I found the perfect setup and fitment for my 2015 Mercedes Benz C250 Coupe. I went with MRR Ground Force GF9 Silver wheels and for tires I went with Lexani LX-Twenty. I love the way it sits, it gave the car a nice sporty look. Thanks again 🙌🏻

Wheel specs
Front - 19x8.5
Rear - 19x9.5

Tires
Front - 235/35 ET40
Rear - 265/30 ET42

Suspension
