W/S 212, 19" 9.5j and 8.5j et48. 225 35 front, 245 35 rear, Refurbed in golf R pretoria grey with an absolute load of chrome flake and lacquer. As close to diamond cut as i would want without the horrid corrosive properties of diamond cut. H&R super sports with stock shocks No rubbing, slightly less comfy but nothing unbearable. Hope this helps someone. I'm yet to shoot it properly in a decent location springs been on a week.

Hey guys I'm the second person to widebody a c300 in the US , I'm not finished but I have done a few things that you dont usually see in a daily drivin c300
Managed to run bride bucket seats with my own custom seat brackets
installed a harness bar for 5 point harness
nardi detachable stearing wheel
And I'm running VOLK RAY TE37
18 x 8 et 38 with 35mm in the front
18 x 8.5 et 38 with 60mm in the rear
dang, its perfect. any rubbing at all? I dont plan on doing any suspension work to my car.
Thanks, no rubbing at all with stock suspension. Since the above photos were taken, I've put on H&R Sport springs upfront and changed the front tyres to 235/40 and still no rubbing. I left the rear suspension on the stock AMG package springs as it would rub if I were to use the H&R springs. I've also added 10mm H&R spacers upfront after I had the bodykit installed, as the fender flares are wider now. Pics below are updated pics. still on 225/40 upfront still on 225/40 upfront 235/40 upfront
4-Matic? You'll need front and rear tyres to be of the same size. Not advisable to have a staggered setup. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Nope, as long as the outside tyre diameter is the same you can have wider tyres on the rear, you just have to go lower on the profile, so them running a 235/35R 19 - Front and a 255/30R 19 - Rear, the outside diameter works out to be the same.

Any benefit in going with a wider tire other than looks. I’m suspecting it wouldn’t noticeable at all.

With the factory rims from the side they dont look much different at first glance, when they are off and sitting side by side you can see that the rear is wider.
If you go for a wider tyre on the rear you have to do the maths on what profile needs to be to match the front diameter, im no maths wizz so I dont know, a good tyre shop can work it out for you.

aaah yes, same outside diameter! Thanks for the clarification, prktkljokr.
I’m having a lot of trouble tryin to find these wheels. In my opinion, they fit the car great and I’d wanna buy a set but i have yet to find that specific wheel. Please help. If all fails, atleast an educated guess on the diameter of these wheels, 19 or maybe 20?
