Sport shocks/struts

I've had H&R super sport springs on for a while now, but I can feel how the stock struts/shocks are not made for them when taking hard turns. I take my car through the canyons a lot and was looking at sport shocks/struts. Now are bilstein HD a direct copy of the stock suspension or are they built for lowering springs? Im looking at coilovers as well but since I already have the springs might as well take the easy route

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Unless something has changed, HDs are not intended to be used with lowering springs. I can remember a lot of Audi and VW guys finding out the hard way. That's why Bils make sport shocks. Unfortunately, they don't make them for the W204 as far as I know.

Coilovers is the best bet, unfortunately I'm parting ways with my 350 and focusing on my 190e mostly due to high insurance rates. 250$ a month for the 350! But if I were to keep it there are some megan coilovers on ebay for 800$. Megan is a reputable company for the JDM scene.
