Looking into 18" Wheels like these....

Has anyone come across these wheels? I only came across them once on ebay and now they don't have them in 18 anymore. I'm awaiting a reply from the website to see if they have them in 18s still.

Close enough?

They come in different sizes, style 810, but be sure of what offset you order!

^ Yeah I came across these. If I can't find the ones I was looking for then I guess I'll settle with these in 18"s

Other than adding the AMG logo, they appear to be identical....why is this a "settle" for you?

They aren't identical at all.

Just went back to A-B the photos and do see a subtle difference in the "webbing" where the spoke meets the hub, so, you are correct, they are not identical, but pretty darn close!

You're right. I just didn't know the terms to put it in words. Haha. Also, the middle of the spokes on your wheels does not match the one on the wheels in this thread at the point where they meet the outer edge of the wheel.

Isn't it the subtle differences that make one wheel look better than the other? I use to think the common mesh designs all look the same until I saw someone point out minuscule differences about the spokes.

Wow....you are detail oriented and right again!! The OP's photo shows the gunmetal painted part of the spokes seem to be completely flat right out to the rim, and the same area on mine has the slightest hint of the gunmetal area ramping up to meet the rim edge. These kinds of differences don't even make it onto my radar!! If they were side by side at the same price, I can't really pick one over the other and would probably just pick best quality/price. (Power Wheels Pro sources at ISO9002/TUV approved plants) To me, the visual effect is the same, but, hey, I am completely unimpressed with any noticeable difference in the 2012 exterior freshening, so I guess I am working at a lower level of appreciating fine detail.

I often find myself over-analyzing everything.

yeah I over analyze too and I said I would settle because I can't seem to find any shop that has them anymore.

I don't care about an AMG logo. I actually would prefer that it doesn't have it on there. For me, it looks a lot cleaner without it

Ahh...that seems to be the key to my happiness...

It is funny how those little details can make all the difference from one person to another. I always love it when I thinking "why the heck would they design it like that" when the guy next to me states "I really, really love the way they shaped that area there"...

...and then someone else comes along and says, "Shaped what area?"
