Nice! How many coils did you cut off? H&R super sports or sports?
How's the ride on your E55 with the set up? Both looks nice
I have the COs on but the stance isn't cutting it for me. It's barely tucking tires if not, half a finger gap maybe. Though I am still on 17s though.

i decided to cut em because i saw azn c300 h&r coilovers and he had max low setting and it wasnt enough bleh didnt like it at all... his car is ill but didnt justify to spend that much on coilovers when i can cut springs and upgrade shocks.
dude on my stock 18's i was litterally on the floor LOL
the ride comfort on the 55 is at a 7 because im still on my factory rear struts... and im already bottomed out sitting on my bumpstops (which is only a 1/4 of what it was
)LOL too keep it short and sweet.... lost control and flipped upside down..

probably not.. i mean it was a sick *** car... but ever since i picked up the e55 i cant go back to the 350 ill be hating it... LOL ill probably push this whip for another year or two... before start lookin at cars again... but if i were to be able to pick another ride right now... CLS55 or Audi A3 <~~~ these look soooooooooooo sick when done right

supersports two coils and half of the bumpstop i was sitting like a little over a inch off the floor i f*ckn loved it so much!!! if you dont upgrade your shocks u will bounce all over the place it will feel like a boat (on crappy roads).

Cutting springs??? I'm surprised people still do this, and even on a MB at that. It is very, very dangerous. If the springs fail they will get mangled like a paperclip. Lowering springs you can buy for a couple hundred $$ and you have to take them off the car anyway.
Just do a search on the interwebs if you still think cutting springs is OK and there's no issue.

why cut em? why do people get the carlsson replica lip then getting the real ones? why do people put replica wheels? blah blah blah
h&r coilovers will run u like $1500? i can get lowering springs for around 250 koni yellows run about $120... so a little over half what you spent i can sit my ride lower than anyone on coilovers and can adjust my konis firmness whether daily commute or the track..
