In my opinion get new rims they will make a big difference in looks. As for which rims i dont really know what you like so thats upto you. Also for HIDs i have heard a lot of people here use DDM tuning, but i am waiting for AZNOPTICS hids which will be coming out soon, hopefully. Also congratz and welcome!

Welcome to MB world!

There's a ton of info here that has already been discussed. A bunch of members here that provide threads for DIY projects on blacking out grilles with specific removal instructions and material used. To many to list about wheel info and various mods and where to get them.

My first mods here were upgrading my lights/eyebrows & Debadging the emblems. Then blacking out my grille, window tint, Smoked side markers, coilover suspension, 19" wheels and X-Pipe.

A bunch of members have the murdered out theme going. I'm sure they'll come to welcome u as well.

Welcome! If you have a black car I would def black out the grill and all the chrome accents.. Makes it look a lot sleeker imho. And as for rims, like someone said earlier, that all depends on what kinda look you are looking for. Good luck with all the mods!

For my grill, I used plastidip.. but if you don't want a matte black look I would get it done at a shop since I've noticed that a lot of members, including myself sprayed it with stuff we got in stores and it chipped really quickly. You can get plastidip at Home Depot.. just hit the grill with 4-5 coats. As for the window trim, and trunk chrome piece, I just used black out tape. You can get that on amazon for really cheap. The chrome strip at the bottom of the door can also be removed with dental floss or fish line. You will just need some goof off to remove the excess glue.

Ah sorry I didn't upload any pictures to my gallery. You can click my profile and goto "statistics" to look for previous threads I created and their are threads I made with shots of my car when the upgrades were done.

For blacked out emblems you can de-badge the emblems with a piece of floss and a blow dryer then spray paint the emblems black and stick them back on.

Smoked side markers can be found on Ebay here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-...Q5fAccessories

For the grille you can either DIY or purchase one already painted. Vendors here on MBworld have them or you can search on Ebay.

Wheels will more then likely give you a headache, to many options then you gotta find tires.

Lighting is easy though. hit up Mike "AZN Optics" he sells LED bulbs for our eyelid lights in true color (non hue changing when warm/cold) his service is also top notch

Bunch of threads already made on the topics mentioned above. Quick search and you'll have all the info you need

Hey Ron Jr
IN your bottom pic there, did you buy the grill like that or paint it yourself? The one in your signature, not the one with the red wheels I really like it!!
Thanks
Mike
