Aren't you guys being a little harsh? Calling him an idiot, etc.? He comes across as a nice enough guy - giving him a suggestion to take off the badges is one thing, but all this hate and trash talking is unnecessary.

I've seen people try to argue the AMG badges being justified by the AMG body kit, wheels, exhaust tips, etc...but how the hell do you justify putting the C63 and 6.3AMG side badges?! As others have said you aren't fooling anybody...just because you put the AMG spoiler, rear diffuser and exhaust tips doesn't mean you have a C63.

Even worse is a 4-cylinder W204 with the same body changes. I would remove ALL the badging and let 'em guess.

I agree, having someone think they beat a c63 after they blow past you is degrading the value of the true beast.

and you guys, who is racing these cars on the streets? whenever i drive, i drive confidently and comfortably. unless OP is taking this car to the track or engaging in wreckless street speed racing, i don't see why you all care?
to OP, i say do what you want. if having the car the way you have it is enjoyable for you, keep it with the badges.
having said that, i'm going to be de-badging my unmodified car because I feel that it is a cleaner image that way. just my thoughts and my style. but you enjoy yours.
granted, those who can tell the difference and car (like the majority of posters on this thread) will berate you for it (as you are seeing in this thread).

First of all thank you all for the help
Eventually if some one came here trying to show how cool he changed his mb , you'd just eat him alive
I won't remove the badges because here we only have 1 REAL AMG C63 , and I know the different between both of them
So guys don't be Jealous or Selfish , I also compared the OEM exhaust sound I installed to the real AMG , it's also cool enough
for us here , it's enough to have the look of AMG C63

The AMG badge is fine just not the C63..I hate how everyone bashes the AMG badges on non AMG cars when alot of dealerships put them on. My friend has a E550 Coupe with AMG badge from dealership because of the AMG rims etc.

Putting an AMG badge on a car that was never built by an AMG master technician is WRONG. AMG pride themselves on "one man one engine" so if the engine was never built by Mercedes-AMG GmbH Aufrecht Melcher Großaspach (AMG) in Affalterbach it's NOT and AMG!

people will respect you much more if you leave your c300 emblems or jsut debadge the whole thing. Your car looks good, but YOU CAN'T CALL A C300 A C63. it just doesnt work like that. it's a very poser thing to do!
If you wanna have a fake c63, you have to AT LEAST get the hood, front bumper, side skirts, and quarter panels to go with it! then you can be a real poser that looks like he actually has a c63 and you could perfectly pull off that lie if you dont race.
but as your car stands right now, i'd just take the badge away cause you're doing a lame job at being a poser!

+1 with what Grant said. Personally...I would feel like a huge douche driving around with AMG badges. Especially when the SL63 in my town pulls up next to me..and he somehow frequently does. Haha
