I agree. I would rather see de-badged than mis-badged.
I wouldn't even mind the ///AMG badge so much, I just think that the 6.3 and c63 badge is overkill and mis-leading. I would debadge everything and if you really wanted, just to ///AMG.

C63
First off, welcome to MBWorld. Your car is looking very nice, congrats. I would tend to agree though with those that have said to take off the C63 & AMG badges. Anyone that knows what AMG is, will know it's a fake, those that don't wont even notice. That being said, if it makes you happy, do it. It is a free country afterall.

Let the guy do what he wants and let's just go on with our own lives.
The majority of us did not buy our cars to show off to others. We bought them to enjoy for ourselves. So who really cares what other people think anyway.
And yeah, I realize the master mechanics at Affalterbach pride themselves in building AMG motors. But so do the shoemakers at John Lobb, and the watchmakers at Philippe Patek, or the boat builders at Blohm and Voss.
But there are copies everywhere and people end up doing whatever suits their fancy with what they've bought, fake or real. It's just the way the world is and always has been. Just because somebody has a fake Patek, it doesn't affect the real one that you might own. So why make it personal?
If you don't like it, just turn the other way. The world is made up of all sorts of people and unless they're doing you or the world real harm, then let them live in the way they feel comfortable.

The new thread reads...My New Upgrade To C63 AMG so I figure that I'd be seeing pics of a new C63 from someone who previously owned a 300. To my surprise it wasn't... If you really wanna upgrade that car it's gonna cost about 10 Grand a letter homie, otherwise lose that badge.

Wow....what an original comeback. Should have expected it, from a poser, who clearly just doesnt get it.
Adding a fake AMG badge to your little engine is like adding a sock to your trousers to compensate, dude.
As for me...I dont need a sock...or a "fake" AMG badge. I have 6.2 liters under the hood to back up the AMG badge.
Like in the real world...just be glad with what you have and try to stop acting like your're packing more.

It's quite simple. Of course the OP can do whatever he wants to his car and there is no debate about that in my view. However, he clearly said: "Waitin to hear your replies". So he should be willing to accept whatever feedback comes his way, good or bad. My personal view is that it is shameful to wear such a badge on your car if the car underneath does not match the badge (the same as someone wearing a fake Rolex in my view). The reality is that he will never get widespread support on this (or similar) sites. It was the same way when I had M cars and someone would post with shots of their non-M car wearing an M badge. I guess that's my opinion and I'm entitled to that, just like the OP is entitled to his opinion. The OP has every right to be a forum member and shouldn't need to sustain personal attacks for what he did. However, the bottom line is, if he didn't want the feedback, he shouldn't have asked.

First of all thank you all for the help
Eventually if some one came here trying to show how cool he changed his mb , you'd just eat him alive
I won't remove the badges because here we only have 1 REAL AMG C63 , and I know the different between both of them
So guys don't be Jealous or Selfish , I also compared the OEM exhaust sound I installed to the real AMG , it's also cool enough
for us here , it's enough to have the look of AMG C63
Thanks again for thus who helped me

"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
If he can't afford an AMG like most people but wants to make his car look like one, what's the big deal? He's obviously a newb to the forums and took his time to show his pride in his ride. Why dump on him?
Welcome to the forums T.L.

It's also quite amusing to see all the C63 lurkers appearing every time there's a thread like this to whine about the badging.

Obviously you haven't been on here long enough to realize that most of the people who are telling him to get rid of the badges are regular W204 owners. And those like myself have had W204's before moving onwards to the C63. So before you ***** about things you have no idea about because you are probably a badge ***** yourself.
