Cool Fine Touch Up Application

How many times have we experienced using the applicator that comes with the touch-up paint only to findi that it applies too much paint. Here's a great tip I learned from a body shop technician -

For very small or fine scratches use the bottom end of a paper matchstick (not the wooden ones) as an applicator. The paper matchstick has very fine fibers that emulates a tiny paint brush For fine lines trim the end to a fine point at 45 degrees. Apply touch up paint to the tip and proceed to touch up your vehicle. Let it dry completely and buff up with a non-scratching compound like Meguiars Ultimate Compound.

I've been doing this for years, it works perfectly!

Great idea I will try this! For bigger chips the brush works OK as long as you make sure that there is very little visible paint on the brush first. A little paint goes a loooong way!
