sorry to hear that man.. i feel ur pain... i juz had that kind of problem recently.. some a**hole at skool opened his/her door n' dinged my door... it's not that much noticeable but at least it's noticeable to me n' every time i see that i feel so sad.. 
too bad i didn't catch him/her... i hate that kind of ppl who r not responsible... at least they should apologize...

So recently I noticed a car in my school's parking lot. And just out of suspicion, I broke out the tape measure.
As I had suspected, the measurements are pretty exact. So I confronted the owner. She admitted to having hit my car, and seeing as it was an accident, I decided to cut her some slack, and I decided to have her pay for a good fraction of the damages, while I pay out of my pocket for the rest. The quote I received for the damages was below my $500 deductible anyways, so in a way, I guess it worked out in the end. Hooray for investigation skills!

its good you took it a step further. I actually have cameras where I live so I usually check them out. I had an oil truck driver spill oil on my car, and the oil somehow stuck on the car and got into the inside and made a big mess. I called the oil company and told them, they blew me off so I had my brother who is a DA, go to their site and hand them the tape. They sent a check for $500. All I needed to do was wax the car lol but Ill take it

But yeah, I'm definitely glad to have found out and to have worked something out. I'll definitely sleep a little better at night. But! I'm definitely parking my car farther away from any Jeeps/SUVs.
I just said definitely three times. I need to stop using that word. -shudder-

how did you confront her? Im surprised that she admitted it...I would have question why she didnt leave a not or something if she knew that she hit someone. Im not one to confront someone though
