*Testing Waters* Face plate for Double Din (Pioneer f90bt)

Decided to upgrade headunits so I sold my previous one. At the moment the car is chilling at the body shop so I got time to decide which screen I want next.

Soooo Up for sale is my face plate/trim/bezel or whatever you want to call it plus harness for a pioneer avic headunit. I had a avic-f90bt but I'm sure it will fit other screen that isn't motorized. Trim is custom made by a friend who works at car toys and it's wrapped in vinyl. For more info pm me I will try to check in more often.

Here's a picture of it.

For sale? No offense but the faceplate does not look that well made. Poor fitment, does not match, etc...How about just giving it to someone that might want it, if you can find any takers? What do you actuall think you can get for it?

This forum is really starting to puzzle me a bit - more good than bad still thank goodness...

that's why it's called testing waters to see if anyone is interested. So far it is a better build than my previous setup. I'll give that one away to anyone who wants a cracked faceplate. I'm not a professional installer to make it sit back flush when I have to reset my service interval/turn on dyno mode

I guess that is my point - I would think if someone is going to go this route and install an aftermarket head unit in their MB, they would go to a professional installer to make sure it fits correctly and looks as close to factory installed as possible.

None of my business really - sorry to jump into your thread here - good luck.

Another round of ICE
This happens to me from time to time here, but I cannot figure out the motivation for doing this. You can improve sound quite a bit with speakers. This mod gives up all the telephone features, key pad, and all the pre-sets, apart from the cosmetic issues...what do you get to make this worth it?

To me the amount of play I can have on a subwoofer, I also went this route so I can have navigation in my dash instead of it hanging on a window. I has bluetooth with a keypad.

But I have found a updated model for a deal I can not pass up on so I am going to keep it

haha considering I didn't pay a thing for a professional installer to make me this. I don't care how it looks.

My previous set up which cracked in a week after using the motorized screen. also had the gap at top 400 dollars wasted
