Where is that located? And how big of a diff is it from the other black

Not sure where its located on the car but you can find the codes here... http://www.paintscratch.com/ ..it should be easy enough to distinguish which one you have...i think the obsidian looks like it has sparkles in the paint

The only real difference (that i'm aware of) is that obsidian black metallic has the tiny metallic particles in the paint that looks pretty awesome in the sunlight. Otherwise I haven't noticed much of a difference between my obsidian black metallic benz and my friend's regular black benz when the vehicles aren't in the sunlight or if they're viewed from a distance. If you have obsidian you should be able to tell if you look at it in the sunlight or shine light against the paint. Obsidian will look like there are tiny metallic specs in the paint, regular black paint will lack these.

Another round of ICE
Open the driver's door. Look at the base of the b-pillar and note two stickers. See the black one with the bar code for the VIN? Near the top at the right are the paint color and build date. The color code should be three digits and follow the letter "C".
