Wow.. 30% Improvement in fuel consumption?? That's incredible.
I'm not sure I like the look of the new headlights but I really like the additional use of "aluminum" in the interior trim.

30% Improvement in fuel economy is a huge difference imo. How the heck did they manage that without changing the motors??

Another round of ICE
I doubt the 30% reduction in fuel consumption for all engines. I think the writer of this piece (not an official MB piece) misunderstood the new specs with the new C250 base vehicle fuel consumption reduction due to the introduction of the new base 4 cylinder turbo engine.

That's a very good point. It will be interesting to check it out when MB releases details.

The direct injection engines are the ones with increases, not the 3-liter.

The 3.5 is a new engine.

If the c350 goes from the current 17 to 24 mpg (city), I will be extremely impressed...make that stunned.

(Current 17 miles per gallon. Claimed 30% reduction in consumption = 17 miles per 7/10ths of a gallon, which equals 24.285 miles per gallon)

Even as just a 30% improvement in mileage (1.3 x17), yields an impressive 22 mpg.

So, what are they claiming?

Also, the interior is a complete redesign! Mercedes is trying to increase their Itch Cycles recently to compete more with Lexus because they have a Itch Cycle of 6 years - we've been sitting with 8 Years for the longest time.
