ADV 10s concave way too pricey. Anyone know of something more reasonable and similar?

I dont have $6600 to drop on rims, not including rubber. Im not necessarily looking for an exact knockoff replica, but something similar for maybe 1/3 the price?

Try DPE? I can put you in contact with their owner.

Not replica's, but he is asking for something similar. An excellent choice which is much cheaper are COR wheels:

Three piece, forged, been around a long time. One thing I can say, in talking with guys at COR they really are on top of their stuff and give you much more information on wheel choices and construction.

think he is looking for replica's if he's asking for 1/3 of the price.. not going to find much 3 piece rims for under $2k a set.. dont even think DPE's will be under $2k without a good hookup..

If your looking to spend a lot less, I would stop looking into 3 piece wheels.

Just wondering why do 3 piece rims cost so much? strength? or cost making them?

I am not an expert on 3 piece wheel construction, but in every industry in which I've worked, I've observed that one must never confuse cost with price. Cost is incurred by the seller and is a function of their materials, labor, amortized r&d, etc. Price assumes a business objective profit margin will be met, but factors in competitive practice and what the market will bear. For wheels which sell in the thousands of dollars, much of that price is likely a result of competitive practice and market acceptance. I suspect margins are quite healthy or are shared among various steps in the distribution channel. Unless these wheels are made from "unobtainium", it is hard to imagine material or process costs in line with the pricing.
