So got my car back from Benz today, wheel shake is coming from bent wheels. Rather then paying 150 per wheel( x3) to get them straightened, or 400 for new wheels each wheel.

I was looking into get new wheels, then I walk out onto the showroom floor to find these - 207-401-16-02-7x23. The only picture I was able to find was from here - http://www.benzblogger.com/2010/11/t...cabriolet.html

I got a work up from the dealership for wheels, tires and valve stems. - 3215.78. 18 inch wheels, and I think they're amazing.

My question is, what are your thoughts on the wheels, as well as having them installed at Benz, or if I can find them cheaper anywhere else?

IMHO I don't really like them. Don't think they would look nice with our car nor do I think they look good on the E lol. If you can find somewhere to get them cheaper I would because MB would charge you out the a$$ lol. After you get the wheels you can definitely find a quality place that can do it for much less than MB. Good luck with which ever route you go with.

Dude, that's like $3500USD if I used the currency converter correctly... If you're willing to spend that much, you can go with a lot of other options and probably also 19s...

Yeah that's about what Benz said, I wish I could find a picture on the c300. The one in the showroom was amazing. I'm looking for black with chrome/gun metal inserts. Haven't found much I liked, I'd rather stay with 18s also.

LOL really? Where are you from? I've probably seen your car around if you are from the manalapan/freehold area. My car has been in the shop the past 2 weeks for an electrical problem. It's been so sad not having my car around.

As for the c it sounds pretty hooked up for OEM lol. Lip spoiler and those wheels? Damn might actually look pretty hot. I'll be sure to check it out for sure.

I'm from NY, live out in Toms River, work in Brick lol. Took it to Freehold cause it was the closest dealership.

Lol steering lock module and something else but they were pretty cool and offered a goodwill discount since my car was already out of warranty. I don't recall the exact problem but I'm just glad to have my car back tomorrow it's been a long 2 weeks.

I was always thinking about rainguards as well but I've only seen it ONCE on our car... Don't even remember where I found it but it looked good. Let me know if you find any lol

Yeah they seem like they have awesome customer service, aside from the loaner thing(apparently you cant be given a loaner when you have progressive, but they rented me a car).

No such luck man -_- Called this morning and said they are still working on it and will still be working on it til late tomorrow. I'm going to AC tomorrow so I said fu*k it and told them to just leave it til Friday. Their customer service is okay but I got really annoyed today when they told me yet another day of waiting. Getting on my nerves cause my car has been out for over 2 weeks now. Hopefully I can check the wheels in the showroom on Friday... HOPEFULLY.

Lol really? Did you get your car at Freehold MB too? Freehold mall is the only mall I go to cause it's like 5 mins from my house. You prob go to EB Mall or Menlo most of the time I assume.

Easy i do go to EB mall and Menlo and Woodbridge and even Freehold Mall. I do have friends living in Freehold so basically i go up and down route 9. lol I rarely drive my car but now the weather is getting better you might see me on Rt. 9.=) yeah we should get a meet going but April we have the Breast Cancer meet @ Stockton College. i bought my car at Ray Catena in Union.
