I know exactly how you feel. When someone hit and ran on my 204, my heart just dropped when I saw the damages. The plates didn't even arrive yet too. Good to hear that you're not hurt. Your car will be fixed in no time!

I felt terrible when my got hit. You can't change the past so there's no pont in beating yourself up. What was gonna happen was gonna happen. Atleast your safe and you'll still be around to driver her once she is fixed up . Have faith I am sure she will ride the same

I went through the same thing 4 months ago. I rear ended a Honda Odyssey. Didn't look like much but my repair was $8800. Not sure about the Honda. Luckily my insurance only went up $50 a month.

Sorry to hear that. As other's have said, glad you're ok. Don't worry about your car, if it's cosmetic, you should have her back soon & as good as new!

I'm with Mercury and they were happy to cover wheels, etc., for a small increase in premiums. You just give them a value and they snap a pic. This was several years ago, but I'm sure most companies allow this.

I rear ended someone when they did a sudden stop before a traffic light when it was still green. Eventhough the driver was not a good driver, I should have been more cautious and avoided hitting him, so I accepted the accident as my fault.

The bad news was that eventhough the damage didn't look that serious (not as serious as your accident as the radiator was not affected), it is a Mercedes and because it is build with safety in mind the crumple zones were well utilized and it didn't help that the car I ran into was a 1970's Duster beater which barely had any damage because it wasn't made to crumple.

The cost of the damage to my car was approximately $14,000. I had all the repairs done by a Mercedes dealership bodyshop, so everything was OEM parts worked on by Mercedes technicians, and the paint was OEM too. The paint job was a killer, costing a little over $9,000 alone because it was using the newer OEM nano technology paint.

The repairs were flawless with not a single issue, so I highly recommend doing the repair work at a Mercedes dealership bodyshop or a Mercedes authorized shop, and insist on OEM parts.

I'm glad to hear no one was hurt and I hope everything works out. Look on the bright side and think of it as an opportunity do some upgrades or modifications to your car.

Sorry to hear about you car man but like the others said, at least you are not seriously hurt. I'm sure after the reparis are done you won't notice any difference except a hood and bumper without paint chips. If it's not just right when you get her back remember that she has lots of younger twin sisters out there looking to be loved.

Lol I would have been even more pissed if it happened after the accident . I just got off the phone with the body shop that towed my car , he said there was no frame or engine damage so I'm feeling better about it now .

Look at it this way. The car is a lease. So if you are unhappy with the way the work turned out or the way the car handles or behaves after the fix - then turn it in and move on. If not and you are completely satisfied - you got a new paint job and hood and everything to get rid of rock chips. I would recommend clear bra the front. I wish I would have done that.
