Does anyone know how to make the mph display the default display instead of the odometer and trip.
The steering wheel position blocks the upper portion of the display, I know you can cycle to it but I would rather have it start up in mph display.

The odometer and trip is default whenever you start your car. However if you want it to read MPH, press the up or down arrow on your steering wheel until it displays the MPH.

This is one of the few gripes about my car! My W203 used to default to where I left it... I can't understand why the W204 will not. My other gripe is with the HVAC... I wish it would display the fan speed and direction when it is in AUTO mode. My SAAB had the option to turn that display on and off by pressing and holding the AUTO button.

Can't be done on an 2008 or 2009. I think it started on the 2010. Be happy your car doesn't switch back to Economy (Comfort) every time you start the car instead of Sport which I prefer.

The 2010 C Sport maintains the last speedometer option on restart. Usually keep it on trip computer "From Start" to check MPG, average speed and elapsed time.

Not so with the C-S (and some have M) select button setting which reverts to C mode on startup on this model.
