HG Motorsports 2008 C300 Retired Track Car Photoshoot

Hello everybody!

Well this is one of our shop cars that never made it on the forums. It was a track car that we competed in NASA Time Trial Events for 2 seasons.

The car has the following modifications:
HRE P40 Wheels
KW Variant 2 Coilovers
Brembo Monoblock BBK 6 Piston Front/4 Piston Rear
Euroteck Motorsports Front Lip
Euroteck Motorsports Side Mirror Covers
Euroteck Motorsports Trunk Lid Spoiler
Euroteck Motorsports Rear Diffuser
Custom HG Motorsports Catback System
Smoked Headlights, Fogs, Turn Signals, Tailights
Custom suede steering wheels, dash, and shifter boot

Car was equipped with 2 Sparco racing seats with harnesses for the track.. Trying to dig up some photos from back then... But until then, enjoy these and tell me what you think!

You say it was a track car...can you let me know what engine work was done? I would keep my 2011 if I had some hope that I could make the 300 fast

Besides the brakes and suspension, what makes this a track car? I hate how people think making cosmetic changes to your car is a mod. I guess that's how Autozone and Pepboys stay in business, but personally I think those kind of changes are for women. What kind of chromies do you have on your tires? lol...

All I can say about this car is WOW! One of the most original and 1st black C's around . Our C's are not very fast even with all the updates (except the 63), but what make this car different is that it is equipped with all of the bell and whistle. This car in person is a bad ***!!! Not to mention that the car was done a while back ago. Great Lookin Ride HG

The only thing that has been done to the engine was a catback exhaust system. The car dyno'ed at 230whp. I have to track down that dyno sheet.

About 200 pounds was pulled out of the car when we were tracking it. Nothing too serious. Just something to get us by until our C55AMG race car was finished.

There is a difference between a "Track Car" and a "Race Car". We used this car only the track.. It was not fast by any means or had any crazy chasis modifications, but we tracked it. That was all that it was used for for 2 years. So it was considered a "Track Car"

Without doing custom forced induction systems, or building a stroker motor/motor swap... There was no real way to make big power with the C300.

Custom X bracket, pretty much bolted 1" off of the floor

Yes somewhat, we decided to throw some bolts in there, and it didn't look half bad!

We use a tinted clear for those. We have some C300 headlights that we have painted the actual housing. Once I return to the office on Monday, I will snap some pictures.

Thank you for the comments everyone

Looks absolutely great! Have any more pics of the seats inside? Are they for sale by chance? I need a seat for my passenger.
