C320 CDi 4Matic with Brabus D6(III) kit

I've had the Brabus D6(III) kit installed in my C320 CDi 4Matic this morning. I've driven it for a few hours and I can definitely feel the difference. The engine seems to rev much quicker than before, the original torque was pretty impressive but now it is massive! The car seems much more eager to get going even in C mode. Obivously it still requires much more testing I've taken a couple of pics of the install - hope you like them

The kit cost me just under 2200 euros and the Merc stealership took 3 HOURS to install!! Brabus claim it can be done in 30mins... Either the stealership was fluffing about or Brabus don't know how to install their own product - I wonder which...

The kits comes with "Brabus" and smaller "Powered by Brabus" badges. I will definitely put on the smaller badges on the sides either below or on top of the "Avantgarde" badges but I'm not sure if to put the bigger Brabus one on the rear - my car was ordered de-badged - What do you guys think?

You should be able to be a contract logger now . All that torque would pull stumps. How is the economy now ?

Early days for me as I'm still enjoying the extra grunt and therefore I'm driving it with a heavy foot Nevertheless I must try and drive normally to see the difference - promise

Looks really good! Congratulations!
I installed Brabus B20 piggy back ECU on my C200 CGI. It took me around 4 hours to install the kit. It's difficult to connect the cable to CANBUS. But others are a piece of cake. For an experienced guy, it won't take more than 1 hour.
I just wonder why not route the cable into the cabin through fuse box, which is recommended by Brabus. The Brabus ECU temperature tolerance is not that good. And also there might be water (rain) get there. Mine ECU is stored just below the steering wheel.
Cheers.

The kit was installed by the Brabus official dealer therefore it is under their guarantee. One would hope that the kit will cope with the conditions...

I changed my tyres to Michelin Pilot Sport 3's shortly before I "upgraded" so they'll take a while to show the effects

Sorry but still driving around like diesel is never going to run out. I suppose that eventually I'll tire of the grunt and I'll drive more sensibly - but not yet

At long last I did a sensible drive (my wife was in the car...) from Gibraltar to Granada, approx 290Km driving within speed limits through cities, motorways and B roads and I got 7.5L/100Km average consumption. Now if I remember correctly the official consumption for my car (C320 CDi 4Matic) should be 7.7L/100Km so now I am even more impressed with the kit. Whereas the difference might be minimal or even negligible at least it is not greater than before!!

Mercedes GLE 350d 4Matic
I know the thread is quite old, but if somebody is following it...I'm wondering about installing the Brabus D6 III kit on my w166 350d GLE . Please, share your own real world experience of that kit. I started thinking about it when I bpought the car brand new before almost a year but finished with the impression the overall effect on the driving sensation is similar to the stock engine. The Brabus representative told me the extra power will be felt only in high revs which is not so often in everyday driving. Is that true or the D6 "wakes up" the engine on an everyday basis?
