'08 C300 4Matic Sport, '02 530i
MP3s played from the memory card (PCMCIA slot), that's if I drive the wife's C300. If I drive my 530i, I just hook up my phone to the aux input on the headunit and play music from the phone.

I use Sirius but probably wont be renewing it when the trail period ends.
For my music library, I use a 16GB memory card - the sound quality is excellent (far superior to Sirius's horrible compression). Also, with the new COMAND system you can use voice commands to search across all media / hard drive for songs by keyword, artist, title, album, etc - and it actually works well to my shock!!!
Also, even HD radio sounds better than Sirius!

Some are:
"free music search" - allows you to say anything - title, artist, etc
"search for music" - shows you all the different search choices.
"search by title"
"search by artist" etc
