Ni-Doc-ing Dash on a Lease

So... how hard is it to remove? I ordered a C300 for a lease with Aluminum trim, but one of "the only ones left in the country" has the wood trim, and Todd is not a fan. I'd like to Ni-Doc it, but when I have to remove that to return it to the dealer, is it going to leave a bunch of crap on the trim? Or possibly damage it? I've vinyl'd a bunch of stuff in my time, but never used Ni-Doc.

Also how much do you guys think I'd need to do it?

Thanks!

Dr. Todd, at first I was hating all over the wood trim, and wanted aluminum too, but after spending some time with the wood, it grew on me ALOT and im quite happy i didnt go with aluminum, it looks kinda cheap sometimes. The wood has a nice feel to it. That being said, 3m di-noc is a ***** to take off, but it looks awesome, so if you wanna do the double work then go for it.

You can buy seperate trim in CF, but its quite expensive (Several hundred) and its also glossy, it doesnt have the di-noc matte black look, which i like better in all honesty. Di-nocing wont cost you that much

now, Dr., what do i about this cancer on my face?

I had Di-Noc on the aluminum door trim on Darth V1. It peeled right off in one sheet and left no traces that I could see.

If this forum had a "like" button I would click it. I ordered 4 feet of Di-Noc CF for $20, a bit less expensive than the $800 it seems to cost otherwise. I like the matte look too to be honest.

cf trim real is around 120$ for all trim just diy I dig gloss better than matte so next project is real trim hahaha a tip for wrapping is to use a heat gun on the edges and to wrap over the edges and a little behind the trim

what kind of doctor are you?

also my comment about vinyl being hard to take off depends on vinyl (sorry i didnt mention it before)

some ****ty ones need spray adhesive before they go on and it depends how deep you wrap it too. The good 3m stuff prolly comes off easy like darth mentioned (never used it myself)

Amateur gyno.

Cool, the 3M stuff looks legit, I'll post up a how-to or something.
