Plasti-dipping exhaust tips?
I recall someone on this board saying they plasti-dipped their exhaust tips, this would be ideal for me as I'm leasing my C300 and need to return it to factory condition before returning it. I read on plasti-dip's website that the coating is good to 200 degrees, any idea if our tips would exceed that? I would think that you'd have the potential to melt your bumper getting much over 200 for any extended period of time, but I'd feel much more comfortable knowing for sure. Whatcha guys think?

I don't think they do as I have touched them on accident right after shutting off the car and they were not very hot. I have been leaning this way myself I hate doing Mods I can't reverse and I haven't found an aftermarket tip I like.
