PLEASE HELP!! W204 GRILL REMOVAL
I just bought a new grill for my c300 and I dont want to pay to have it installed, so I have opted to install it myself, but I have hit a road block. I understand that there are two clips that need to be "unlocked" that are closest to the engine, but I am having trouble finding them. If anyone knows where these clips are located your help would be greatly appreciated.

they are at the back of that black cover where the hood locks. There are 2 huge recesses almost at teh headlights in front that have to be unhooked, and the 2 at the back clip over. It was tough to do first time. theres a DIY that helps a little in the sticky at the top in DIY post. You gotta remove the support bracket and the covers that go over the headlights. be careful and look through the grill and from side to see whats holding it

You know where the 3 clips are that holds the black hose and wire behind your radiator top cover... 2 of those clips at each end is the one holds your top radiator cover in place. Unhook the clips. It should snap right out by carefully pulling the bottom part out towards the engine.

I don't remember unhooking anything by the headlights but anyway there are 2 pair of fasteners that holds it on top. They are 2 plastic fasteners that clips into the front bar. Press down and pull it out towards the engine.
