Smile Side Mirror Upgrade
I plan to upgrade my (2007/2008) side mirror to (2009-current) model , i curious whether we have to change the full set of it or just the cover. Does anyone know about it?

From what i've heard, it doesn't affect auto dimming and folding functions.

Did mine last night...looks great and no problem with the folding mirrors. Pretty easy to do too although I didn't feel like getting into the wiring so didn't connect the puddle lights. Will wait on that one. Huge improvement in looks and for $139, can't go wrong!

yeah i'm anxious to see these on a lighter colored car. My black doesnt really show off the style that well

I put black on even though the car is white because I wanted them to blend into the windows a little and not stick out. My car is all black and white so I'm really happy with the look. This is all I have for a pic, I apologize for the quality and the filthy car.

Thx! I have AMG headlights, black grill, black roof and getting my wheels powder coated flat black this weekend so all seems to work. Should have it all together within the next couple weeks so will post more pics then.
