Exhaust Question
Hello I am somewhat new to the forum, but have browsed it for the passed seven months learning about my car and figuring out how I wanted to mod it. I decided that an Eisenmann exhaust was my first priority. Today I had it installed and it looks and sound great. I know that there is a break in period, but I have driven 30 miles already and am curious if it is normal for their to be a burning smell and some smoke coming from the exhaust. Thank you very much.

I worked through Sonic MS in Mountainview, Ca. They ordered the exhaust for me and did installation. The exhaust cost $3000 or just above that and installation cost around $350 and that is because they had to cut the stock diffuser which took a lot of time to do. The guys at Sonic have been very helpful. I found them through people on this forum and their recommendations.

Sounds like a good deal except for the diffuser. Since you were getting the carbon one anyway why didn't you just take the old one off and leave it like that till the new one came in if you ee just going to take it off anyway? Seems like a but of a waste of 350 dollars.
