white smoke???????????????
So i drove my car like i always do... didn't redline or floor my car.
i did rev a bit up to 4-5k?
it was raining heavily and after a 40mins of driving i parked my car in the garage and there was white smoke coming out of the engine as soon as i turned off my car.
the white smoke was coming out like a straight line upwards like u see from the rice maker when the rice is all done.
I dont know where it came from, either the grill or the gap between the grill and the hood. and my engine was pretty hot i had to use a glove to open my hood and the smell wasn't pleasant.
i have stock grill on and i did no mod under my hood and i only have 20k mileage and mines a 09..
i don't think this is normal
did this ever happen to you guys?
i heard this is really nothing to panic about, but i dont know, im not too happy. T.T

Did you check your engine temp before turning off your car? maybe it over heated? If it keeps happening I would worry more. Although maybe give your dealership a call and ask them if they know what happen.

when you mention that the smell wasn't pleasant i thought of the radiator and the the coolant fluid, that smells when it leaks. Also would make sense since you mentioned the engine was hot.
better check out the fluid levels.

steam?
you say it was raining heavily, was it simply steam from the water hitting the hot parts of your engine bay, the smell could of been the exhaust mine seems to have a weird smell when i start it and then go to the truck and get a whiff of exhaust.

drove it today and it it was fine i guess i dont need to worry if anything comes up dealer time-_- sigh
