I've been a muscle car driver/builder. American hot rods I know. I bought a K&N air filter for my C300 Sport but don't know where the air box is or how to get to it to install the new filter. Is it inside the larger portion of the plastic piece covering the engine? If so how do you get to it, please? I may be 63 but I'll be damn if I take it back to dealer to have some young kid look at me like, "man what a dumb a$$". The ONLY dumb question is the one not asked. So, a little help please.

It's that black plastic thing with a V shape on it & the ECU in the middle. Remove air pipes etc. & give it a firm tug to get it out of it's clips. Then all will be plain.
