I just can't decide if I like it. I think it makes that particular wheel look too small. I don't know if I want to go thru

E63 Black on Black
I like where your going but the plastic dip wheel looks like a spare, but then yet having the non plati dip one looks out of place with your full black theme, maybe get them powder coated a differnt shade of black?

I have black wheels, but mine have a polished lip and are powdercoat glossy, matches the paint on the car. Im a fan of the dull finish on the trim and emblems, but makes the wheels look poor, but I guess its better than stock. I would personally have a bodyshop paint glossy on the wheels if you wanna save the $$ on buying new wheels. I remember you posted a few wheel choices seeing if they will fit? what happened to going aftermarket? there are soooo many nice inexpensive wheels on ebay, just keep the stock tires and go w 18" aftermarket. The other thing w platidip is its not too durable, unless you scuff the factory wheels to get bite, its not gonna hold up too well, but I may be wrong.

i would have not blackened the Mercedes logo and blacken the rest of the rim. I think that would provide a contrast so it doesn't look like what Mixed Fruits said.

I think you should plasti-dip them all, then purchase some H&R lowering springs or coils if your really going all out. It will make the car looks much more aggressive and not make the wheel look so small.

That is exactly the "problem" with black wheels IMO. Polished lips/centers help, but since your car is black as well, that's a tough one. Also agree w/ going gloss black vs matte/plasti-dip.

I "think" I like it (as a concept). And if it was my car, I would assume it will grow on my simply because its different. Though I'd have to agree with kwikblkmax about ruining a bad *** rim...
I do agree that you should not have plastidipped the center cap... Not sure if you also plastidipped the lugnuts but I can only imagine that the paint was ruined when you tightened them, so I'd stay away from those as well.
ETA: I think it also makes it look aggressive but as someone said up top, a drop could accomplish that on its own... Do both and it will be :pure-sex:

You're right. It does make it look smaller than it actually is. I kinda like it, and if you're going for the blacked out look, it fits the profile.
Does plasti-dip have a texture to it? or is it smooth?

Thanks guys. I'm going to try to find some C63 replica 19's and get them powdercoated. It's a lease so my only option for the stock rims was plastidip. I peeled it off last night. o well.
