and I also agree with the above statement how are you going to bash something and say its a waste when you have no experience with it.

It's not a good thing nor a bad thing...just a different thing. No one claims it actually makes the car faster, it just feels better to some. I recall we had an engineering exercise which allowed us Product Planners to drive cars with differently cammed throttles...in the days when there were more mechanical devices involved. Some were set to have most of the throttle actuation early, so just touching the pedal made the car take off, and others relied more on full pedal travel. In the end, it's the same on-the-road performance...just different approaches to getting there, and some like the initial blip, and others like the full pedal travel approach. This is just today's electronic equivalent of offering that alternative. Pick your flavor and let everyone have their own preference. It's great to have choices!

No, you guys are right. I have not tried one, but I have no desire to really try it. I already know I am the type of guy who would rather have a more "linear" feel on the trottle pedal. it drives me nuts when I drive a car that tries to snap your neck when you just overcome the spring in the pedal, I love how soft my car is on othe low end of the throttle pedal. However as Sportstick said it's great to have choices. Didn't mean to belittle those of you who chose it. I'm just fairly certain it's not for me, and I should have eluded to that in my previous post.
Kind Regards,
Rick
