My New Shoes

Got them in a few weeks ago , haven't put them on yet as i need new tires . I originally wanted the Vertini Fairldady's in 19 in staggered but i didn't have enough so i went with these in 18 / 8 all around . Im thinking of have them powder coated as i was going for the stealth look but i'm gonna wait to see how they look on first .

These wheels look very busy, but then again, I'm into simpler designs when it comes to wheels. Waiting to see these on your car!

okkk this might be really stupid to ask but.... the Vertini Fairlady's, are they like rims preferred for 350z's? i know alot of the JDM guys would call their Z's fairlady, hell i even took the 350 and replaced it with fairlady on my previous Z, also on your wheels it has a Z that resembles the Z from the 350/370. i know random question just figured id ask.

Lmao could be the couch . Fairlady is a special edition z made by Nissan . I'm
Not sure how many are made with each new model but they have been doing it for a while . The Vertini wheels eighths same name are used by the jdm guys but there are plenty of euros out there with Vertini wheels . The wheels I bought just happen to have a similar logo as Nissans Z series coupe .

Honestly, better. However, I attribute this to the fact that I switched from the oem michelin tires to continental Extreme Contact DWS. OEM equipment tires have harder rubbers to offer better MPG estimates and thus, give a harder feeling ride. Aftermarket tires concentrate more on a better feel and give a much better ride. (And these rims are bigger, at 18" versus the stock 17")

Only thing that is a tad annoying - not sure if it is the tires or not, is a bit more road noise. When going over bumps, not really when driving around. I hear more of a "ping" sound (probably because there is less rubber to absorb the impact due to the bigger rim size). But its really not a big deal at all, and once I turn the music up to my normal level, I don't hear it at all.
