fitment gurus please :D

Hello guys within the next couple of months Ill be purchasing rims and have no clue so Id like your $ .02

Right now Im on H&R supersports rear 5mm shim
More than functional Im looking for a little more drop but that will add more gap in the fenders so then I think the only choice is to go with larger than stock 17" rims and get low profile tires am I right? What are the pros and cons to low pros?

Anyone know what tech specs of rims I should looks for, for a respectable fitment?

Thanks guys yeah I dont have any clue

Buying rims is like getting a pair of shoes they have to feel just right.

19's should do the trick.

Staggered or non-staggered?

Personally I've somewhat been eyeing the VMR V715s or Concept 1 RS8s. The lip+convex set up sort of has me interested, but at the same time, Forgestar F14s have captivated my wants for a while. (But then again, everyone and their grandma has a set of F14s these days).

I think he meant staying w 17s and having lower profile. Or going 18/19 but less tire to be less overall diameter.

My recommendation is to go with euro63s or something along those lines. there are lots of lip rims around BUT your going to need a high offset to clear the fenders and gotta stay kinda slim on your tires. Maybe go 8.5 all around or 8/9 staggered, if you do 8.5/9.5 your gonna have to stretch your tires and that may be the look your going for anyway, most guys dropped stretch their wheels anyway for the look..
