I got the usual fodder here, nothing from HQ or anything particularly useful.
'03 E320 - rubber mats and keychains (the keychains sucked because they had keyrings on both ends and that makes it way too bulky)
'06 ML500 - rubber mats and keychains again...
![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
'09 C300 - Never got the mats that sales promised, again with the cruddy keychains...
![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
'10 E350 coupe - Nada, zip, zero, zilch... LOL
Except for the E320, which was purchased at Benzel Busch - Englewood, NJ all the cars were purchased at Helms Bros. - Bayside, NY.

How would that impact my ability to negotiate the price of the vehicle? Can you negotiate if you're building your car as opposed to buying a new one that's already on the dealer's lot?

I'm strongly considering doing the European Delivery next time around. The discount on the price of the car's MSRP makes the extra travel expenses well worth the trouble.

The way I look at it, on a C/GLK Class that's around a $2k to $3k saving (more for other classes) that would easily subsidize the cost of airfare for two plus hotel costs. So I'm buying a car and getting a vacation out of it.. Not bad.

But a big consideration would be whether/how it affects my ability to negotiate on the price of the car.
Edit: A coworker from my previous place of employment did that for his W203 and he said it was a fun experience.

From what I recall (MBUSA.com), it's up to 7%. They have a few different packages, one of which is included at no cost (and has one or two nights stay paid for, and you pay for the rest of the nights). You have to pay for your airfare.

I find it hard to sell Euro delivery as the economical choice.
But I find it's easy to sell it (at least to MY wife) as "Wait until you tell your friends that while we were on vacation in Europe we bought a Mercedes and drove it around the European countryside for 2 weeks."
Sold.
Honestly though, she's making out very well. I bought my C350 last year, so she's next in line (in 12 months actually) to get a new car. Almost certainly it'll be a Mercedes, BMW or Volvo, and all 3 offer a Euro program, so that'll probably be what we do.
How much we like it will determine if we do it again 2 years after that when The C350 gets traded-in. I could really see this becoming a regular thing for us if we enjoy the experience. A big vacation like that every 2 years seems apt, with something tropical or stateside in the off years.

Late entry to the original thread, but:
I got a keychain handed to me, and two, count 'em, two bottles of a decent red wine (can't remember the varietal type) from a local source, with a decent amount of alcohol content. Gotta have alcohol content. Kudos to El Dorado Hills MB (Calif).

One year ago on delivery, I received 1 set of oem all weather floor mat, 2 coffee mugs and 3 nice keychains.
One year later, I received in the mail form Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc. a very nice Mercedes-Benz 2GB USB memory key in celebration of the anniversary.

I bought my C300 at Westwood (MA) Mercedes and got nothing. I don't even think a thank you. It still leaves me with a bad taste and I am reluctant to buy another car there.
