Does MB send a welcome gift?

Subjective as this maybe, they've already given you the gift that keeps on giving... Anything over and above that, should be left to the individual dealer or more likely the salesperson you dealt with.

A gift or a token of appreciation of doing business with them is usually given at the end of the sale. It can be in a form of free service (tinting, free oil change, etc.) or a gift from their MB boutique (shirt, keychain, etc.)
The only thing I get from time to time is Christmas cards, anniversary card and invites to special local MB occasions

I got carpet but I think it comes with car? Also got two key chains and a blanket with 3-star logo and dealer's name (Autobahn Motors). I asked for a coffee mug so they gave me one.
Nothing from MB headquarter.

In Mexico, MB sent a high-tech CD/DVD zippered case, a MB book bag, (for the wife) and a key fob. In addition, you get a subscription to the monthly Mercedes-Benz Magazine (I have gotten it for 18 months now, but don't know for how long), a very slick, glossy publication in Spanish with some interesting previews. For instance, even though there is typically a 60-day printer lead time needed, a review and specs with a dozen pictures of the new CLS appeared in this magazine months before seen elsewhere on the Internet. Also an article with pix of the A-Concept a month before the Shanghai Auto Show where it was "unveiled". Neat, huh?
Better still, half the magazine is dedicated to fashion, jewelry and decorating, many of us know exactly what this is good for!!! Here is an image:

I remember when M-B Dealers used to have Chocolate Chip cookies freshly made at their Dealers. It seemed like they all phased that out during the 2008 downturn. I wonder if it was an HQ related thing....

I got a $750 family portrait session with some hot shot photographer with a couple free prints. I mean, I didn't benefit much from it but I guess it's better than nothing.

I received the Saks gift card from MBUSA. The dealership gave me two leather and metal keyrings and a slab of solid German chocolate.
For my 2008, I got the same Saks gift card from MBUSA as well as a CD wallet. The dealership gave me the same slab of chocolate and two metal keyrings.
When I'm there for service, the cashier always hands me a chocolate covered shortbread "Best of the Best" cookie along with my key.
