So i decided to let my friends smoke on the car as long as they keep the windows open that was a bad idea. One of them dropped the cigarette and instead of landing in the mat it barely missed it and landed on the carpet. So now i have a cigarette burn on the carpet. So any one know any cheap solution how to fix it? I have feeling if i bring it to the dealer they'll charge me an arm and a leg

1. backhand your friend.
2. backhand yourself for letting him smoke in your ashtray, er, um, car.
3. grab his credit card.
4. order OEM carpet & have dealer replace it.
5. your smoking buddy is no longer your friend, so problem solved.



I HATE cigarettes with a passion. I pick them up and toss them back in people's cars when they drop them out their window. Like my world is their freakin' ashtray.

How many miles do I drive my CLS per year jacko? About 1,200. So, if a Prius driver drives the typical 15k/year, who's burning more fuel? I work from home, so there!

Now, my Tahoe sees more mileage, so that's the gas guzzler. Regardless, cigarette smokers suck *** (no offense if you're one).

Honestly, I don't care which burns more fuel or what kind of vehicle you drive... You did, however, sound like a hypocrite complaining about cigarette butts and your "environmental concerns", and yet you own a gas guzzler... Moreover, I agree with his sentiment abotu working from home. I work from home as well. If I had even a short, 20 mile drive to the office, that would be about 10,000 miles a year I'd be contributing to the problem. Instead, none of that for me.

I was at small party that was at some guy's apartment that knows two guys that I know. We had a few beers and chilled. One of the guy is smoking and burn my back. I didn,t feel that much pain at the time as I was drunken. Next day morning I felt sort of pain and felt itching around it.The only burn mark I see on my back from the mirror is small, maybe near an inch, sort of red. You guys think I should put a band aid on it or not ? Even it is a burn mark. I'm not sure how long it heals.

I smoke and I'm far from white trash.

I hear what your saying about having the interior burned. Someone in the front passenger seat burned the material between the window and door. I have yet to burn anything myself since I've owned this car. Some people just don't take care because it isn't there property.

Are all cigarette smokers white? I'd like to see you call my best friend white trash and see how that works out. He's about 6'3" 250 and used to play football for a living, he's also a few shades darker than myself.

Edit- didn't mean for this to sound threatening in anyway. Just pointing out that not only white trash people smoke.

Nah, he never made it to the NFL. He broke his radius and ulna while playing for SJSU, best he could do after that was arena league for a few years.
