LED interior phenomenon

Holas amigos, i tried adding in a blue led strip to the underdash, have done it twice before in two other cars no issues were i just tap into to the footwell light with an LED strip and all was going well.

First LED strip goes in just fine, it dims with door open/close and looks great, but once i remove the second halogen bulb from the passenger side and plug in the 2nd LED strip both of them start to slowly blink bright/drim, like its in some sort of emergency LED mode D:

anyone have any ideas? i realize this post is a bit confusing so ill do my best to clarify if anyones confuzzled

reverse the wires, could be a polarity issue, or too little of a draw in current to work correctly

just guessing
