Clips for rear diffuser

So I've had my diffuser for a while but it won't stay in . I noticed that the clips that do stay in have little metal clips around them . Where can I find these ?

are you talking about the clips that insert into the bottom of the bumper cover that are at the top of the rear diffuser? If so none of the C63 ones stay in well especially in the middle. What I did was take it all back off and then use pointy snips and pop the clip so it was free from the rest of the clip bracket and makes it stick up a little when it goes into the bumper cover. This makes it hook and cant come back out, only bad part is its nearly impossible to get back off unless you unclip from behind

It's the metal clip that goes around the tabs . The pointy clips I's a good idea , where can I find them ?

Which diffuser are u trying to put on? The OEM C63 ones dont have any metal clips, they are plastic and have a tab inside a bigger tab, all plastic. The stock C diffuser has metal tab holders, those can be modified so u stretch them a little with pliers so they grab better. Im just assuming you r trying to put on the quad diffuser and I did mine using snips and pliers. Make the tab inside the plastic nub on the diffuser free so when it goes into the slot it gets caught kinda like a snakes fangs or a fishing hook barb, then it wont come back out. I had to install my OEM C63 twice cause it wouldnt stay in tight in the middle. I ended up going carbon fiber and I took the bumper cover off and installed from the back and then put it on in one piece so I knew it wouldnt come off. But that one had metal strips on it so I had no choice but to remove the bumper cover. Show me a pic of what u mean or explain a little better so I can help u out bro

I have this one , plastic tabs just won't pop in all the at least not while driving lol . I can get it in as far as it will go but after going over a bump it just pops right out . Thinking about gorilla glue but that's last resort .

I have the exact same one. My tabs all went in the slits and I bent them back to secure it. I also got the C63 brackets from MB to help keep the diffuser in place
