used 2011, ~10k off?
Had a loaner with less than 10k on the dash start misfiring like crazy once. Flashing CEL, insane vibrations, and me ****ting my pants.
But all the loaners I've ever driven were the most basic models available with no added features. Even the steering wheel felt a little "plasticky".

If anyone wants to look and give any advice? im going out to take a look at it tomorrow. My parents are back from vacation on Monday and im going to be presenting my argument that "spending $600 every couple months to fix my current car is about the same as a financed new car" sales pitch.
But damn, if that's your best argument for getting your parents to put you in a Mercedes...
Even a LEASE on something like a Honda Accord is upwards of $350 a month.... and that would work out to more than spending $600 every few months on repairs.
You might only be thinking of the $600-$700 your parents will be paying to the finance co. every month but remember that SCHEDULED maintenance runs from $300+ to $800+, wear and tear parts cost an arm and a leg OEM, add a considerable bump in insurance, and premium gas at $4 a gallon.....
Are you sure your parents won't think of all these things? This comes out to much more than fixing a paid off Toyota.... even if it has a blown transmission
Oh, and don't forget the down payment...

Oh, and don't forget the down payment...the monthly payments i would be paying, not my parents. I'd just basically want their help with the down payment and an agreement to help me if anything happens (large random repair bills or anything like that). All things considered i could afford it, but really cant get anything as big as a car without my parents signing off on it lol

First off they seemed rather unwilling to move around too much on price, guy mentioned there was someone in last week who wanted it for 30 and they wouldnt sell for that, i get the feeling i could get them to maybe 32 at best (which id be willing to pay for this car as its got everything i want).
secondly i had a question for those who have financed through MB. How flexible (if at all) are dealers when doing financing? I was quoted 3.99% for upto 63 months and then 4.49% for 72 months. While this is still better then what my bank was quoting me, i had hoped for a tad lower. That being said, 72 at 4.49, with a 10k+ deposit is doable, but if i can get them lower, would be great.
Sorry for the newbish questions, this will be the first car i buy myself
