We have a 09 c300 sport that we purchased about two months ago.. I just noticed that the passenger side headlight isn't flush to the bumper and the hood.. Is anyone's else this way? Car is a cpo and has a clean one owner car fax.. Thanks

Couldn't tell you why it isn't flush with the bumper... As for not being flush with the headlight, when mine sits that way, it is because the hood didn't latch properly on that side. I usually have to slam mine down from about 2 feet high for it to properly latch on both sides.

You should post a picture; someone else might have something else to add.

Have pics on my phone but can't upload them here. I don't have to slam the hood at all and I checked and all the latches are locked.. Also the passenger side headlight does shine further out than the driver side as others have stated ,but about 10ft in front of passenger side it's really bright like the fogs are on? Weird.. I'll try and get some pics from camera and upload them.. Thanks

this is common. just use a little force (pull, from open) when you drop the hood

I'm confused... I don't have a problem with opening or closing the hood

My passenger side isn't positioned correctly either. The gap is not even all the way around the headlight. The inner half seems to sit correctly, but the outer half seems to sit a little too high.

That's exactly how mine is! Now that I know it's like that it bothers the heck out of me! Should I see what the Benz place says about it?

It bothers me, too. I had to have the passenger headlight replaced because of an accident, so I figured that was why. But since you have the same problem, I'm not so sure of it now. You should see what the dealer says!
