When buying my car, it had a small crack right around the fender as well (picture in link below).
The MB dealership "fixed" it and now I can't see or feel a thing (from the outside; I haven't tried prying from the inside and I have no intention of doing it.. lol) All I know is that the fender wasn't changed.

You might want to have your local MB guys look at it and see if they can fix it and how much it will cost you.

with 20s on this car u MUST run 30 series up front and 25 series out back. Ur tires should be 225-30-20 and 255-25-20 and thats stock ride height. 20s dropped isnt a great idea, but u have a high enough offset so it wouldnt have happened with the half inch gained by tire profile. that can be fixed without having to replace the fender too btw

I've tried 285/25's in the rear but I go through rear tires twice a year and the 25's are too expensive to replace all the time.
Gonna sell the car in the Spring so I'm just gonna leave the damage. Maybe throw some chrome fender trim on it before I sell it.
