How much do LED tail-lights cost?
Well I recently bought a 2011 C class but it doesn't have led tail lights. I want to change them but I don't know how much they cost.

Also, will the LED tail light work normally (without fast blinking in a non-LED tial light C)? Is electronics control the same for both LED and non-LED tail light Cs?
I know on most cars we can't just replace regular bulb with an LED bulb; the turn signal will blink at a much high rate. Therefore, a resistor is needed in parallel with the LED bult. It seems the control electronics should be different. If the electronics difference is inside the LED tail light module then it is a plug and play, easy replacement.
The above is just my guess and experts please provide comments. I'd like to have LED tail light too.

If changing the whole tail light module works, and no other electronics is in the module, it means that with many LEDs (not sure how many, 10 or 12 LEDs?) in parallel, the total resistance is about the same as a regular bulb, so the time contant is the same.
I hope it's the case so we can replace it easily.

Thanks for posting the picture.
Among the six LED bulbs in the picture, only the small bulb light facing the rear direction; the others are facing sideways. Will sideway bulbs have enough rear facing brightness? Maybe individual LED has large enough lighting angle? Something like this, I like to find a local store demo.
Year ago I ordered ten size 168 LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com for my other car. It turned out the bulbs are not "super bright" but "super dim". I can stare at it directly long time without hurting my eyes. It must be LEDs of old technology.

Plug and play.

OK.
I tried some LED bulb on the C300 rear turn signal, and it blinked very fast. So my LED is not the same as C's LED which is interchangeable with the other non-LED bulb.
By the way, when I tried my old LED bulb, I only tried one side. I don't think it matters if I don't have the LED on the other side.

Has anyone used this H7 LED bulb or a similar LED H7 bulb? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Car-H...Q5fAccessories
I wonder if it is at least as bright as the factory halogen bulb.
