My buddy bought a 2011 C350 and hasn't figured out how to drive with the city lights + the DRL LED on yet

Seems like when he turns the city lights on the DRL shut off. Also when he turns the low beam on the DRL still turn off.

Any suggestions? Thanks

you can access the setting via in-dash interface...under vehicle settings under lighting.
these can only be turned off or on.

when you use your "city lights" AKA the eye brows or your low beams, the LED DRLs do not shut off, they just dim.

The LED DRLs are on full blast during the day only.

thanks for the answer that makes sense now. I wish you could run them on full power at night too they look so good .

He also said that when he turned the car off once the LED's still stayed on. He had to drive for a while and shut the car off again to fix it.

Anyone else experienced this issue?

I think the DRL's only stay on for a short while as set by the user (using the screen in the instrument cluster) as part of convenience lighting.

It's been a month and I still can't figure out how to make them stay on. Guess they really only work with car running.
